DocSearch Health (“DocSearch”, “we”, “us”) wants you to be confident about every order. Because we dispense prescription medication, our policy is different from a typical retail store. Please read it carefully before you order.
1. Prescription medications cannot be returned
Once a prescription medication has been dispensed and shipped, it cannot be returned, resold, or reused. This is required by federal and state pharmacy law and by our licensed partner pharmacies, and it protects the safety of every patient. Prescription items are therefore final sale except in the circumstances described in Section 3.
2. If you are not prescribed, you are not charged
When you complete your intake, we place an authorization hold on your payment method. We do not capture the funds at that moment. A licensed clinician reviews your information, normally within 48 hours. You are charged only if a prescription is issued.
- If you are not approved — the authorization hold is released in full. No charge is made. Depending on your bank, the hold typically disappears from your statement within 3–7 business days.
- If you are approved — the payment is captured and your order goes to the pharmacy.
There is no consultation fee for a declined request.
3. Damaged, defective, or incorrect shipments
If your order arrives damaged, is not what you ordered, or does not arrive at all, contact us within 30 days of the ship date. We will replace the order or issue a full refund, at your choice, at no cost to you.
Please do not use a medication that looks damaged, has a broken seal, or arrived warm when it should have been cold. Photograph the package and contact us. In most cases we will not ask you to ship anything back — damaged medication must be disposed of, not returned.
4. Non-prescription items
Any non-prescription item (for example accessories or supplies) may be returned within 30 days of delivery if it is unopened and unused. We cover return shipping. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the item is received.
5. Subscriptions and recurring refills
Subscription plans renew automatically until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your patient portal at patient.docsearch.com or by contacting us.
- Cancelling before your next refill is billed stops all future charges.
- A refill that has already been dispensed and shipped is not refundable, for the reason explained in Section 1.
- Multi-month plans are billed for the full plan term at the start of that term. If you stop treatment mid-term, remaining fills that have not yet been dispensed can be cancelled and the undispensed portion refunded on a pro-rated basis. Contact us and we will calculate it with you.
6. Cancelling before your order ships
If you change your mind before the pharmacy dispenses your medication, contact us immediately. If we reach the pharmacy in time, we cancel the order and refund you in full.
7. How to request a refund or report a problem
Email support@docsearch.com or call (407) 974-6808. Include your order number and, if the package arrived damaged, a photograph.
We respond within 1–2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and normally appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
